ICRP, c'est naturel
Description
A summary is given of ICRP Publication 39 recommendations on the principles for limiting exposure to the public to natural sources of radiation, particularly from radon decay products in dwellings. The present ICRP dose limits for the public only apply to artificial radiation exposure and have no relevance to natural radiation exposure. However ICRP Publication 39 clearly recognizes the need to treat natural radiation exposures separately. (U.K.)
