New light on hypernuclear spectroscopy with stopped K-

Description
New light is shed on hypernuclear spectroscopy using stopped K-. Theoretical predictions are made on the population of Σ and Λ hypernuclei, in particular, on spin-orbit doublets and deep-lying orbitals. Characteristic features of this method compared with the in-flight recoilless method are emphasized. (orig.)
