Description

In order to investigate the hydrogen mixing among subcompartments in the containment vessel (hereafter abbreviated C/V) after a loss of coolant accident (LOCA), a model C/V was constructed and mixing experiments were performed. A hydrogen mixing analysis code (MAPHY) was developed and compared with these experimental data. Furthermore, the hydrogen distribution of an actual 3 loop PWR plant after a LOCA was evaluated.
