Description
The operating results of the reactor station's 12th year of operation are very good despite some outages, for example due to inspection and maintenance in March/April, reactor refuelling in November/December, for repair of a leakage at the flange sealing of the pressurizer, or due to some power setbacks caused by the power distribution system or required for recurrent testing, and coastdown operating modes. The annual gross electricity generation was 11.134.589 MWh. The net electricity supplied to the grid was 10.538.199 MWh. The plant own demand was 5.48% (outage and operation). The average net efficiency was 35.2 %. The total downtime in 1996 was 923 hours. The aggregated gross electricity generation since commissioning of the plant on 31 August 1984 (first criticality) amounts to 132.294.742 MWh, and net electricity generation to 125.186.255 MWh. As in the years before, the radioactivity release from the plant through gaseous and liquid effluents was low and remained clearly below the maximum permissible emission limits. (orig./DG)

Auch das zwoelfte Betriebsjahr des Kraftwerkes konnte trotz der Revision im Maerz/April, dem Brennelementwechsel im November/Dezember, dem Stillstand zur Beseitigung einer Leckage an der Flanschdichtung des Druckhalters sowie den Leistungsreduzierungen durch den Lastverteiler, einigen kurzzeitigen Leistungsreduzierungen zur Durchfuehrung von wiederkehrenden Pruefungen und dem Streckbetrieb mit einem sehr guten Betriebsergebnis abgeschlossen werden. Das Jahr 1996 erbrachte eine Bruttostromerzeugung von 11.134.589 MWh. Die Nettostromeinspeisung in das oeffentliche Netz betrug 10.538.199 MWh. Fuer den Eigenbedarf wurde ein Wert von 5,48% (Stillstand und Betrieb) ermittelt. Der mittlere Nettowirkungsgrad betrug 35,2%. Fuer das Jahr 1996 ergab sich eine Gesamtstillstandszeit von 923 Stunden. Seit Inbetriebnahme der Anlage am 31. August 1984 (1. Kritikalitaet) betraegt die Bruttostromerzeugung 132.294.742 MWh und die Nettostromerzeugung 125.186.255 MWh. Die Abgabe radioaktiver Stoffe mit der Fortluft und dem Abwasser war auch 1996 gering und lag wie auch im Jahr 1995 deutlich unter den genehmigten Abgabewerten. (orig.?DG)Additional details
