Description
The DOE has identified 35 issues associated with the Standard Contract for Disposal of Spent Nuclear Fuel and/or High-Level Waste (10 CFR Part 961) which need to be resolved to ensure that the waste management system can achieve maximum efficiency while attempting to ensure equity among the waste owners. This paper presents an overview of these issues and discusses the ongoing issue resolution process
