Measuring manual for radioactivity monitoring in the environment and for nuclear facility effluent monitoring

The measuring specifications in this manual have been compiled paying attention to the tasks and duties defined in the Preventive Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchVG) for monitoring environmental radioactivity and radioactivity levels in the off-plant environment of nuclear facilities. Existing measuring instructions set up some time ago have been updated according to recent developments in science and engineering. The competent monitoring stations of the Lands will thus have a guide for performing their radioactivity monitoring tasks on a standardized basis and by standardized techniques. The manual is published as a loose-leaf edition in order to allow for easy updating of the material in response to future developments in analytics and measuring engineering. (orig./BBR)
