Exact finite-range distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations for the reaction 60Ni(18O, 16O)62Ni/sub g.s./

Description
The finite-range full-recoil distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations have been done for the reaction 60Ni(18O,16O)62Ni/sub g.s./ employing the surface transparent ''Brookhaven'' potentials. It is found that for this reaction the recoil effects considerably affect the shape of angular distribution at angles greater than 30degree. The no-recoil treatment is shown to overestimate the distorted-wave Born-approximation cross section by a factor of about 4
