Flaw recognition from ultrasonic signals
Description
Two aspects of ultrasonic data processing are discussed in this paper: the first one is a brief description of a U.S. imaging software package (detection, location and sizing of defects under coating in the tubes of PWR vessels), while the second concerns the use of discrimination methods for flaw recognition (Adaptative learning network and Fischer's Linear Discrimination Procedure)
