Mass spectrometric investigation of tungsten pentabromide

Abstract (German)
Die Sublimations‐Enthalpie von WBr 5 wurde mit Hilfe einer massenspektrometrischen Knudsen‐Effusionsmethode im Temperaturbereich von 359–417 K gemessen. Aus den Meßergebnissen wurde berechnet: ΔH° (subl. WBr 5 , 298) = 26,3 ± 0,8 Kcal/mol. Unter Verwendung der Bildungsenthalpie von festem WBr 5 (−74,5 ± 3 Kcal/mol, [4]), folgt hieraus die Bildungsenthalpie vom gasförmigen WBr 5 ΔH f ° (WBr 5 ,g, 298) = −48,2 ± 3,8 Kcal/mol.Additional details
