1. The text of the Protocol Additional to the Agreement1 between the Republic of Cape Verde and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is reproduced in this document for the information of all Members. The Board of Governors approved the Additional Protocol on 16 June 2005. It was signed on 28 June 2005 in Vienna, Austria. 2. Pursuant to Article 17 of the Additional Protocol, the Protocol entered into force on 7 September 2022, the date on which the Agency received from the Republic of Cape Verde written notification that the Republic of Cape Verde's statutory and constitutional requirements for entry into force had been met.
