EXPANDA-6, 1-D Neutron Diffusion in Slab, Cylindrical, Spherical Geometry from JAERI Fast-Set with PuO2 UO2 Mixture

Description
1 - Nature of physical problem solved: EXPANDA-6 solves the one-dimensional diffusion equation in slab, cylinder or spherical geometry. It calculates effective cross sections, which will be used as the coefficients of the equation, from the library data of JAERI- Fast set with 25-group structure. The criticality adjustment can be done by the usual concentration search together with an optional search by changing concentration of PUO2 in the PUO2-UO2 mixture. 2 - Method of solution: The central difference approximation is adopted for the differential coefficients. The three points difference equation is solved by the ordinary set of two points recurrence formulae
