Microstructure and mechanical properties of cold worked and helium ion implanted steel type Kh16N15M3T at elevated temperatures
Description
Microstructure of cold worked with 20% reduction and helium ion implanted steel type Kh16N15M3T was investigated. Tensile tests at 293, 773, 973 and 1073 K were conducted. It was shown that irradiation caused some additional strengthening in the case of tests at room temperature. Radiation hardening is absent at elevated test temperature. 6 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
