Description

Characteristics of the gamma-quanta emission process: emission intensity, energy and momentum spectra, and angular distributions have been obtained experimentally in almost total experiment performed by means of the 180 litre xenon bubble chamber exposed to 3.5 GeV/c momentum negatively charged pion beams. The dependence of the characteristics on the internuclear matter layer thickness involved in the collisions is evidently observed. Comparisons between the characteristics of the emitted quanta and the corresponding characteristics of the parent neutral pions are performed. (author.). 6 refs.; 5 figs.; 3 tabs
