X-ray stress measurement of metallic beryllium (Be)
- 1. Kanazawa Univ., Kanazawa, Ishikawa (Japan)
- 2. Polytechnic Univ., Sagamihara, Kanagawa (Japan)
Description
Metal Be that absorption of X-rays is low can invade as about 60-200 times depth as steel material, because the penetration depth is deep. Therefore, we can do the measurement of the area which cannot be without neutron measured with no destruction by past method. This study examine bend examination of four points, to which X-ray stress measurement is applied considering stress gradient. (author)
