Environmental pollution and radioactivity in Russia in 1994, November

Contamination of the environment (atmospheric air, soils, water sources) as a result of industrial accidents and agricultural sewage is considered. Radiation situation (radioactive contamination and gamma-radiation dose rates) on the territory of the Russian Federation beyond contaminated areas stemming from the Chernobyl accident and other radiation-involving accidents and in the area of NPP siting as well, is discussed.
