Description
We have been developing the permanent magnet dipole for bending magnet of particle accelerator by our manufacturing technology of permanent magnetic chucks. The magnetic field strength is adjusted by rotatable permanent magnets. When non-magnetic gap is set as half of the height of the permanent magnet, flux leakage of the off position becomes smallest. This article describes the design of permanent magnet dipole. (author)
