Measurement of life-time of inner-shell vacancy in recoiled Ge ions in solid Ge by heavy ion impact
Description
Thickness dependence of the intensity of MO X-rays induced bv energetic recoils in 1.5 MeV Ne + ion-bombarded Ge targets has been studied and the average life-time of 2p-vacancies in the energetic Ge recoils is obtained to be (7.0±2.0)×10 -15 sec.
