Computed tomography of an Egyptian mummy from the 22nd dynasty period

Description

The authors present a CT study of a mummy from the 22nd dynasty period which showed a well preserved skeleton with almost normal bones and joint structures. No funerary jewelry and amulets commonly found in the royal mummies were identified. They also present an historical revision about the use of conventional X-ray and latter of CT scanning by the biggest museums of the world as an special tool for the development of egyptology around many European and American countries.
