Cluster-model vertex functions for 16O: forward α-particle scattering
Creators
Description
We show by direct calculation that the lowest-order triangle Feynman diagram model of forward elastic α-particle scattering, together with the assumption of α-cluster structure of ¹⁶O and ¹²C, is capable of explaining the forward angular distribution of the differential cross section in elastic α scattering from ¹⁶O.
