Electronic structure and exchange interactions in fcc Fe

Description
We apply a new first principles approach for evaluating the spin dynamics for arbitrary magnetic systems. The method is implemented within the local density approximation and applied to γ-Fe, a frustrated system where we obtain new low-energy magnetic configurations. copyright 1996 American Institute of Physics
