Description
Neutron spectra at the surface and at different depths within a bodylike phantom calculated by the Monte Carlo method are compared with measured spectra. Furthermore, derived fluence and kerma values obtained by integrating the calculated spectra are compared with measured results from track detectors and ionisation chambers. The results demonstrate the applicability of calculation methods for the purpose of radiation protection in neutron fields. (author)
