Description

Tripoli-4 code is a three-dimensional, polykinetic computer code for particle transport based on the Monte Carlo code. Apollo-2 modular codes for 2-dimensional multigroup transport calculations (the Pij solver use for the flux calculation) are developed by the CEA, France. Today, Tripoli-4 and Apollo-2 codes are used broad in France to study and analyse reactor core. The paper presents neutronics calculation for Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor (DNRR) to calculate the results of several calculations of physic characteristics for VVR-M2 Fuel Assembly (FA) in aluminium-uranium alloy with 35wt-% of uranium and 36% 235U enrichment in DNRR using the Tripoli4 and Apollo2. Finally, we compare with some results of calculations, for the VVR-M2 Fuel Assembly neutronic calculation, the results of Kinf and neutron flux distribution is similar Tripoli-4 and Apollo-2 calculations. For the two DNRR whole core calculations, FAs-69 and FAs-89, the results of keff are close between Tripoli-4 and MCNP-4C calculations. (author)
