Description

This Act authorizes Turkey to ratify the Protocol of 16 November 1982 to amend the Paris Convention on Third Party Liability in the Field of Nuclear Energy. The Protocol in particular replaces the unit of account used in the Convention by the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund and also makes several technical amendments. (NEA)

Abstract (French)

Cette Loi autorise la Turquie a ratifier le Protocole du 16 novembre 1982 portant modification de la Convention de Paris sur la responsabilite civile dans le domaine de l'energie nucleaire. Le Protocole a notamment pour objet de remplacer l'unite de compte utilisee dans la Convention par le Droit de tirage special du Fond Monetaire International et d'apporter a la Convention quelques amendements d'ordre technique
