Foundations of theory of salt hydration and dissolution
Description
The improved and electrostatic method of calculation of enthalpy of successive coordination of water molecules by ions in the gas phase in the liquid including donor-acceptor mechanism of particle interaction is presented. A new quantitative approach to salt solubility is the aqueous medium is described. The hydration numbers, their interrelation with the coordination numbers, effect of external and internal exciting factors on these values are analysed on the basis of power engineering of ion step-by-step hydration. The proper data, mainly, for different alkali and alkaline earth metal salts are presented. 220 refs.; 23 figs.; 23 tabs
