Nuclear-demagnetization cryostat and cryostat for dissolving 3 He in 4 He with high cooling performance
- 1. Institute of Physics Problems, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Moscow
Description
This paper describes a cryostat of increased reliability for dissolving He-3 in He-4 that is used for precooling copper nuclear-demagnetization cryostate. The functions of the cryostat are examined. The design and specifications of the nuclear-demagnetization cryostat, which has been used since 1982 to study the superfluidity of He-3 at temperatures to 0.4 mK, are given
