Experimental studies in support of LWR core cooling reliability during small and medium leak accidents

Description

The results of a complex of experimental investigations of natural circulation regimes and core cooling conditions during LWR loss-off-coolant accidents are presented and discussed. These investigations were carried out on 8 models of reactor circulation loops and of fuel bundles. Conditions of fuel rods cooling at different stages of accident with uncompensated small or medium leak are considered. (author)
