Description

This work deals with the preparation of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). Colloidal AuNPs solutions were prepared by cathodic sputtering into polyethylene glycol (PEG) with a molecular weight of 600 g of Mol-1. into a suspension of PEG and a natural polysaccharide. PEG and polysaccharides were used as stabilizers here. This preparation process is very simple and it is also environmentally friendly. Sputtering produces spherical nanoparticles of gold. The size of the nanoparticles ranges from 3 to 35 nm, depending on the composition of the solutions. (authors)
