Description
The stopping power of a uniform electron gas for antiprotons moving at low velocities is calculated by making use of the momentum-transfer cross section. The effective screened potential required is described by a one-parametric trial form of strictly finite range. For a particular fixed value of the parameter the results are in fair agreement with those given by recent self-consistent calculations. ((orig.))
