Silver complex formation with 2- mercaptobenzimidazole at 278-318 K

Description
Present article is devoted to study of silver complex formation with 2- mercaptobenzimidazole at 278-318 K. The complex formation process in the silver-2-mercaptobenzimidazole - C2H5OH - H2O system at 278-318 K has been studied by means of potentiometric titration. The general stability constants of complex particles have been determined. It has been shown that the stability of the complexes increases with temperature temperature. The values of thermodynamic functions of complex formation process have been calculated. It has been found that the entropy factor makes the main contribution to the spontaneous course of the complex formation reaction. (author)
