Guide to develop a project of valorisation of bio-CO2 produced from methanization
Description
After a previously published technical guide for the valorisation of CO2 produced from methanization, this guide aims at indicating information, questions, returns on experience and data gathered by some actors of the sector, in order to favour the development and implementation of projects. It aims at helping operators of methanization unit in injection to address and to anticipate the different steps of development of a valorisation project of bio-CO2 produced from methanization, and at presenting stakes of the valorisation of bio-CO2 produced from methanization. After a presentation of bio-CO2 definition and assets, it indicates steps of development of project, how to assess the project potential and how to find outputs. It reports case studies of autonomous, territorial, and farm-based methanization. It also addresses additional aspects: main usages of liquid CO2, interests and expectation of consumers, direct usages through ducts, food grade, bio-CO2 from methanization and carbon print, technical aspects of a liquefaction unit, economic aspects, road transport of CO2, innovative ways of CO2 valorization
