Description

Molecular mass of pectins obtained by universal calibration has been considered. Pectin polysaccharides have been extracted from various sources and their molecular-mass distribution has been characterized by means of liquid chromatography method. The molecular parameters of sunflower pectins have been determined. The molecular parameters of two various citrus pectins have been compared.
