Neutrino flux correlation with solar activity
Description
An analysis of the data on neutrino flux obtained by Davis et al. during the period 1970-1977 suggests a correlation with both solar flares and the 11 year sun-spot cycle. The flux of neutrinos during a period of minimum of solar activity without flares seems to be only 0.4 +- 0.6 SNU compared to the expectation based on the 'standard' static model value close to 5 SNU.
