Description
Discrete optical potential ambiguities are shown to persist in elastic scattering from light nuclei even in the presence of an apparent nuclear rainbow. This observation can be explained in terms of clear correlations between the real and imaginary parts of the optical potential. A simultaneous study of charge-transfer can partially solve this ambiguity problem. (orig.)
