Description

A method is described for calculating the frequency of magnets with laminated ferromagnetic cores energized from alternating current (ac) with a direct current (dc) bias. This is useful during the design of magnets and their power supplies for regulation and ripple studies and to estimate magnet losses and the circuit response to transients
