High-latitude Cosmic Noise Absorption (CNA) events, F-lacunae and Slant E Condition (SEC) in polar cap ionograms are discussed in the light of a recently proposed mechanism of electromagnetic wave scattering Farley-Buneman plasma waves in the lower E region
