Description

We present the measurements of de Haas-van Alphen effect in a heavy fermion antiferromagnet CePb3. Three fundamental oscillations denoted by α, β and γ are detected in the field induced ferromagnetic state(the paramagnetic state). For the α-orbit, the natural explanation is provided by the results of the band calculation. The temperature dependence of the amplitude yields the cyclotron mass for the α-orbit, 67 m0. Despite the natural explanation in topology, as inferred from the quite heavy cyclotron mass, the quasiparticle bands are much flatter than the calculated ones. (author)
