Description

The behavior of uranium is examined experimentally in the course of partial fusion of natural or synthetic granitic rocks. Uranium is definitely soluble in the associated hydrothermal solutions containing chloride under oxidizing conditions, but it is not soluble in the same fluids under reducing conditions

L'etude experimentale de la fusion partielle de roches uraniferes argileuses et synthetiques montre que l'uranium est nettement soluble dans les fluides hydrothermaux associes s'ils contiennent des chlorures et lorsque les conditions sont oxydantes. Il n'est guere soluble dans les milieux reducteurs
