Description
The low-temperature form of CeCu6 has been determined from the Rietveld analysis on high-resolution TOF neutron diffraction data at 65 K. The crystal system is monoclinic with lattice parameters a = 0.5080 nm, b = 1.0121 nm, c = 0.8067 nm and β = 91.36 deg. The space group is P21/c and the unit cell contains four formula units. The structure is a derivative of the high-temperature orthorhombic form associated with a monoclinic deformation and minor shifts of the atomic positions. (author)
