Description
Mr Ray Hughes described a strategic approach to safety development in BNFL Magnox Generation. He then presented the framework developed for Environment, Health and Safety improvements. It is based on the European Foundation for Quality Model (EFQM), including the following parts: main areas for improvement, key activities, enablers, performance indicators and results within a three-year strategy. As an example, he mentioned the need to adequately integrate and communicate into the business model the set of initiatives developed and deployed to address behavioural issues identified from events, audits, etc
