Description
A self-consistent theoretical model is proposed for analysis of the anomalous transport and nonlinear self-sustaining magnetic islands, and on this basis, the anomalous diffusion coefficient and anomalous electron thermal conductivity are derived. The basic starting point is a generalized Ohm's law of neoclassical MHD type which connects the parallel plasma current directly with the particle radial transport. the nonlinear magnetic island chains are shown to be sustained by the magnetic island modulated anomalous radial transport and the anomalous transport is sustained through the magnetic island 'short-circuit' effect
