Resonance-like structures in 10B(10B,α)16O excitation functions

Description
Excitation functions of the 10B+10B elastic scattering at 800 (c.m.) and of the 10B(10B,α)16O reaction at 50 (c.m.) and 1750 (c.m.) have been measured simultaneously for c.m. energies between 3 and 10 MeV. Whereas the elastic scattering is varying smoothly with energy, large resonant structures of intermediate width of about 600 keV have been found for the first time near 40 MeV excitation of 20Ne in most reaction channels to 16O. Abstract (German)
Bei c.m. Energien zwischen 3 und 10 MeV wurden gleichzeitig Anregungsfunktionen der elastischen Streuung 10B+10B bei 800 (c.m.) und der Reaktion 10B(10B,α)16O bei 50 (c.m.) und 1750 (c.m.) gemessen. Obwohl die elastische Streuung sich glatt mit der Energie aendert, wurden in den meisten Reaktionskanaelen zum 16O zum ersten Mal nahe der 40 MeV-Anregung von 20Ne grosse Resonanzstrukturen von einer mittleren Breite von ungefaehr 600 keV gefunden.
