Description
Crack resistance of four types of ceramics, based on zirconium dioxide, stabilized by 9% CeO2, was investigated. Crack propagation in three types of the ceramics takes place against the background of formation of a large zone of transformations. Sizes of this zone reduced with decrease of material grain size. Such zone was not formed in ceramics with the lowest grain size (1.14 μm).5 refs., 6 figs., 3 tabs
