Description

Triammoniumtris(pyridyne-2,6-dicarboxylato-N,O,O')holmiate(III) heptahydrate crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a 17.841(4); A, b = 10.142(2); A, c = 18.570(4); A, β = 112.20(3) degree and Z = 4. The crystal and molecular structure of the complex has been determined using X-ray diffraction data measured with MoKα radiation. The discrepancy factor R for this structure is 0.0316 for 3542 diffractometer data. The Ho3+ ions is coordinated to three pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate anions by the oxygen atoms of carboxylate groups and nitrogen atoms of aromatic rings. The Ho-O distances are ranging from 2.381(4) to 2.408(4) A, and Ho-N distances from 2.463(5) to 2.478(5) A. The coordination polyhedron around the holmium(III) ion can be described as a tri-capped trigonal prism with Δ = 0.029 A2. (author). 23 refs, 2 figs, 5 tabs
