Determination of the adatom position on the single crystal surface from mean energy ion scattering spectra

Theoretical calculations have been conducted showing the principle possibility of the determination of the position of adatom on the single crystal surface using a method of mean energy ion scattering. The charge composition of the scattered particles and the influence of thermal vibrations on the spectral form are studied
