Electron flow in stationary magnetic field with periodic inhomogeneities

Description

Focusing of axially-symmetric and strip electron flows by a stationary magnetic field with periodic inhomogeneities of the sinusoidal type has been considered. An equation of the boundary paraaxial electron in such fields has been obtained and the solution of an non-linear equation by linear approximation has been carried out, but for axially-symmetrical beam by a numerical method. On the basis of calculation data possibilities of electron transportation with small pulsations depending on the relation of amplitudes of stationary and periodic magnetic fields are investigated. The results of experimental investigations are given
