Emerging energies and independent power production in B.C
Description
This paper outlines the activities in independent power production in British Columbia (BC). The projects being described include cogeneration, energy recovery generation, wind and biomass. Current sources of energy in BC are hydro (90%) and thermal (10%). The BC energy plan calls for self-sufficiency plus by 2016 with zero net greenhouse gas emission and potential as net exporter of clean renewable energy
