Accounting of finite radius interaction in the 27Al (αd)29Si reaction analysis

Description

The differential cross sections of the (αd0) reaction are calculated with account for the finite-range interaction in the local energy approximation. The effect of finite range is accounted for by modifying the form factor. The experimental and theoretical angular distributions of deuteron from th 7Al(αd0)29Si reaction with account for the finite range interaction equal to 0.806 Fm and for the zero range approximation are presented. When the range finiteness is considered, the anisotropy of the theoretical angular distribution is substantially reduced and the agreement between the theory and experiment for larger angles is substantially better. The theoretical integral cross section has increased 4x102 times compared to to the zero range calculations. For smaller angles the theory and experiment are no longer in detailed agreement. It is concluded that the account for the finite range is incorrect in the local energy approximation
