Synthesis and crystal structure of lanthanum oxalate crystal hydrate La2(C2O4)3·9.2H2O

Description

Crystals La2(C2O4)3·9.2H2O were synthesized, the results of synthesis and X-ray diffraction study being presented. The crystals are monoclinic, sp.gr. P21/a; a = 10.460 (2), b = 9.590 (2), c = 11.358 (2) A, β = 114.36 (03) deg, Z = 2, ρcalcld. = 2.23 g/cm3. In laminated structure lanthanum atoms are bound by acetate bridges. Six oxygen atoms of trioxalate groups and three oxygen atoms of water molecule are contained in coordination sphere of La atom. The layers are parallel to the xz plane. Four water molecules, their oxygen atoms not involved in metal coordination, are disordered, being located between the layers

Представлены результаты синтеза и рентгеноструктурного исследования кристаллов La2(C2O4)3·9.2H2O. Кристаллы моноклинные, пр.гр. P21/a; a = 10.460 (2), b = 9.590 (2), c = 11.358 (2) A, β = 114.36 (03) град, Z = 2, ρcalcld= 2.23 г/см3. В слоистой структуре атомы лантана связаны ацетатными мостиками. В координационную сферу атома La входит шесть атомов кислорода трехоксалатных групп и три атома кислорода молекул воды. Слои параллельны плоскости xz. Четыре молекулы воды, атомы кислорода которых не участвуют в координации металла, разупорядочены и располагаются между слоями
