Study of dentifrice abrasion determination by the radiometric technique

Description
In order to evaluate abrasion of dentifrices, experimental conditions were established for tooth specimen irradiation in the nuclear reactor, for brushing irradiated teeth with a brushing machine and for counting 92 P radiation transferred to the dentifrice samples. Abrasion results presented a good precision. Correlation between the abrasion and the mean particle size of dentifrice components was also studied. (author). 6 refs, 6 tabs
