High energy photon experiments at NAL
Description
The proposed high energy photon experiments are total cross sections, Compton elastic and inelastic scattering, rho and phi photoproduction on hydrogen and complex nuclei, diffraction production of J/sup P/ = 1- mesons not previously observed, and linearly polarized photons. The tagged and high intensity beams, and the monitors and detectors are discussed. (U.S.)
